NEW RELEASE – MERMAID JUNE’S MONTHLY PLANNER KIT

June Planner Sticker Kit

Whew! This planner kit has been a thorn in my side. Seriously, I love the colors, I thought I loved the theme.. and then I’ve sat here and stared at it for DAYS. I am loving the results, but this was a true labor of love. All of the other products that are in the store have taken me maybe 4-5 days from start to finish, but this one.. I think it’s almost been a month!

This planner kit contains a little bit of everything. Basics – flags, dots and headers, boxes of all shapes and sizes, a weekly kit and calendar toppers and a dashboard to help you plan your month with an under the sea theme.

New Release – Meal Plan & Grocery Shop Digital Kit

If you haven’t already guessed from the number of posts I’ve made about meal planning, it’s a pretty big deal around here. I don’t know how we’d function without a meal plan and having something to help me organize my meal plan is an added bonus.

When I sat down to design the Meal Plan kit, I took into account everything I typically write down or how I organize the menu in my planner. For the longest time I’ve been using the blank boxes on the right of my Erin Condren Horizontal Planner, this way it was with everything else that we have going on in our lives. I recently purchased a Happy Planner Mini to use as my meal/menu planner and I LOVE it. I love having the meal plan in one place that I can carry in my purse and leave out on the kitchen counter if I need to. The downside to the Happy Planner Mini was there wasn’t a designated place that I could use to write my meal plan. I was using a ruler and pen and just marking off 1.5in boxes off, which was great in theory, but not very pretty.

What’s for Dinner? Meal Plan for 5/1

So I slacked on the blogging last week – I swear time just got away from me – but thank goodness I had a meal plan or we might have been eating sandwiches all week! Below is a look at my planner, that I posted on Instagram, from last week so you’ll see what I’m talking about!

I wish I could say it was a one off week, but the craziness is just going to continue until school lets out for summer break in 4 weeks (What?!? we’re almost done with school this year?).

Finally starting to recover

I had intended for all things Planner & Paper Company to launch before the holidays, but my external hard drive decided that it didn’t like that plan and wanted to die on me; with EVERYTHING I had created as well as my digital scrapbooking supplies, etc. etc. I was heartbroken to say the least, if I’m being truly honest I was just going to call it quits and move on. BUT.. after some much needed reflection, I am slowly starting to create new sticker files.

I was spared, as I had sent 2 of my files to a local printer that were still in my email, so I was able to recover one part of a collection and use that for some of the sticker sized boxes I had already created. I have only revamped one set of stickers, the baseball themed pack, as I need those right now as baseball season is about to get started.  I do not plan on recreating anything else that I had made previously as I’m hoping to get my external hard drive fixed in the near future and I will just release everything once I have it all recovered.

I have a feeling that it will be slow and steady progress for the next few weeks until I really find my footing again – I’m not worried about the technical part, it’s more the creative/themed part I’m worried I will struggle with – but once I have a few more items under my belt, I plan on releasing them into my Etsy shop. If you’re interested, stop by and favorite it this way once I get rolling you’ll be able to keep up to date with new listings. **If you’d like to take a peek at what the “old stuff” looks like, it’s in the header I created for the shop**

I’m hoping to be up and running, or at least have released a few things tentatively by March 18th, I’ll post more as I get closer.

For now, I’ll leave you with a little sneaky peek of what I’ve worked on over the weekend.
