I have been using a Pocket TN for a month. When I posted about trying it in my stories, I really didn’t think I’d be in it for long.

The verdict is in and I LOVE IT!! I’m not sure if it’s because I created an insert with multiple (4) different weekly layout styles to try, so I’ve not been using the same layout every week, but I haven’t struggled to use my planner at all since I started using it!

I have 6 inserts in this TN and I’m using them ALL! When I was in a B6 TN, I found I didn’t use the other inserts, and at one point in time was using a single cover and an all inclusive insert from LightsPlannerAction.

I have a master to-do list insert -basically my brain dump list, my reading journal/log, this weekly insert, a daily, a project planning insert and a blank notebook for notes/random lists etc. it’s honestly the best planner system I’ve had in a while!

Personal rings, will always hold a special place in my planner space, because I love it so much, but there’s just something about this tiny little notebook that I’ve been carrying around.

Happy October 1st! I’m so happy it’s officially Spooky Season!

To celebrate my favorite time of the year, I spent this afternoon working on the cover to my #octoberoccasionally album.

I created most of this in PhotoShop using a digital kit from @rachel_etrog and a few pieces from the digital “Hey Pumpkin” collection by @cratepaper . The flowers are from the Pastel Halloween kit I created in 2018 - that I recolored to match.

I used my silhouette to cut out the numbers and the October banner and stuck them to the outside of the page protector using foam dots.

I was a little hesitant about the 4x4 page size, but I’m loving it so far!

I won’t lie.. this was meant to be a reel 🙈 even my kids are shocked I even tried.

After 20 minutes of me trying to explain to the 13 year old what it was I wanted to accomplish - throwing a few planners and washi rolls around the office to emphasize the point - I gave up. 🤣

So, here’s my “I’m going to plan next week” post. It’s not a reel, no fun music or clever transitions - just a staged pic of my desk. I’m going to make the kids help me and try again next week 😂

Hey.. look at me with a planner post! To be honest, I haven’t used a planner in months. I have been using iCal, not effectively, so it’s back to paper and pen for me.

Life is so different post-pandemic, that I didn’t even know where to start with inserts or what planner you use. I have a spiral Plum Planner, but I’m back to personal rings. The size just seems to work for me.

Are hobo weeks still a thing? I couldn’t find many people using one when I scrolled my feed.
